Come here for first-rate homecooking that a traditional village housewife would be proud of. Try the outstanding spicy tripe and chickpea stew, the Spanish omelette or meatballs in tomato sauce, in particular. It's a spacious tavern that occupies a whole street corner with seven different balconies. The interior is all rustic-style dark wood around a huge bar. As for prices, raciones (large tapas) range from (EUR 2-9) and there's a set price gourmet menu at just (EUR 15) for three courses. You can choose from fine Spanish wines, vermouth on tap or draught beer.
