One of Madrid's most modern theatre spaces, it's used primarily to stage comedies. The new facilities are state-of-the-art: the stage manager's control room is suspended from the ceiling, the walls are lined with fireproof material (like almost everything else in the theatre), and computer programmes control the lighting and sound system. It has been re-designed with safety in mind and the entire building can be completely evacuated in case of emergency in 30 seconds.
