An historically significant theatre whose programme features large scale productions of plays and musicals. It has an attractive neoclassical façade and holds up to 813 spectators. You'll find it on Calle de Alcalá, close to Puerta del Sol, heart of the old town. It opened in the mid 1920s and originally formed part of an entertainment complex that included a casino, a dance hall and a restaurant.
