The best things on the menu are the bacalao Al Ajoarriero (cod in garlic sauce) for EUR4.50 and the delicious cold meats. You can stand at the long bar that's full of tempting snacks or sit at one of the tables or booths at the back for more comfort. Talk about history. Beneath the floor of this typical Madrid tavern are 400-year-old dungeons used by the Inquisition. Nowadays, the bar is full of innocent tapa lovers.
