The success of Spanish athletes in various sports like football, cycling, tennis, golf and many others have contributed to a rapid expansion of facilities for both spectators and participants and particularly around the capital.

Madrid have recently grown in terms of excellent golf resorts like the country club called Campo de Villa attracting many visitors and players of all sort of levels during major tournaments.
