This is the last in a dying breed of confectioner's where everything is handmade using the finest ingredients in the old-fashioned way with no preservatives or artificial colourings. You'll find delicacies here that don't exist anywhere else. Everything you buy will be cut and weighed and packaged in front of you, so you can be sure it's fresh. The lovely old store opened in 1842 and continues to sell traditional Christmas Turrón (nougat) all year round. Some of the other specialities include their marzipan, the Polvorones (flaky biscuits), Yemas de Nuez (walnut and egg-yolk pastries), Candied Fruit and Marrón Glacé. At Christmas time you can take advantage of the home delivery service and even have the store send items abroad for you.
